The SR2 is a smaller version of the Lionsteel SR1. This pocket knife looks a bit kinder, due to the smaller size.. Because the knife is pretty wide, it feels anything but small or puny in your hand. The handle is machined from a single piece of aluminum. The back of the handle is decorated with holes, which cause the weight of the knife to decrease siginificantly. The wide blade, which is made of Sleipner steel, can be easily opened with one hand. Because the thumb studs are placed on both sides of the blade, it can be used by both right- and left handed users. The top of the blade is marked with ridges that provide extra grip. A sturdy framelock blocks the blade. The end of the framelock is protected by a hardened steel element, which can be replaced if necessary.
